Statistical Data
We send around 7,200 pension applications abroad each year. We send most of them (64%) to Sweden.
Estonia (with 11% of the total amount of pension applications sent abroad) and Norway (7%) are second and third, and Germany fourth (4%).
The remaining applications go mainly to Great Britain, Denmark, Switzerland, the United States, Spain and France (1-2%/country).
We expect a decline in the number of pension applications sent abroad in the future. Many of the baby boomers worked in Sweden in the 1960s and 1970s. Most of them have already retired.
In five years, we expect to send around 6,400 pension applications abroad.
