EU Cooperation
The Finnish Centre for Pensions cooperates in, monitors and participates in the development of earnings-related pensions also on an international level.
On the EU Cooperation pages we present the working groups that promote social security in Member States and EU networks in which experts from the Finnish Centre for Pensions participate.
We also notify of discussions in the EU on the development of pensions and social security and monitor regulations that affect pensions.
EESSI – electronic exchange of information
Information between EU countries will be transferred electronically with the EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information) system. It will speed up the exchange of information between social security institutions and thus promotes the handling of benefits for persons who move between EU/EEA countries.
At the Finnish Centre for Pensions, EESSI is used for the exchange of pension information from abroad and information relating to insuring work abroad.
