You can manage most pension matters electronically via your pension provider's online service. You only need to use a form in certain situations. You can submit a form electronically as an attachment or a message, or in paper format.

Use the electronic claim service!

When you log in to the electronic claim service via Tyoelake.fi, you will be directed to your pension provider's web service.

If you claim your pension online,

  • you speed up the process of claiming and handling benefits,
  • you are guided through the claims process, and some of the details will already be filled in, and
  • you can send your claim securely with strong authentication for peace of mind.

Use forms when necessary

Sometimes your pension provider may ask you to complete a fillable PDF form online and submit it through their website. You can find these PDF forms on this page. Just fill in the form on your computer or phone, save it, and then send it to your pension provider's online service as instructed (for example, as an attachment or a message).

If you can't use electronic services, you can submit a paper form directly to your own pension provider, or to any pension provider, the Finnish Centre for Pensions, a Mela representative, or Kela.

Paper forms are available from Kela offices or from the Customer Service of your pension provider.

Check the contact information provided so that you can submit your form.

How to use forms

The forms provided on this service are organised into categories in the menu. You can also use the "Form Search" function to find specific forms. All the forms are in PDF format and can be downloaded by clicking on the "Download" link.

To make sure your details are saved correctly, we recommend that you use Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete the forms. You can open the forms in your browser, but some browsers may not support all the features for filling in and saving the forms. The name and location of the saved form can also be affected by your browser settings.

We cannot guarantee that the forms will work properly on mobile devices. If you are using a mobile device, we recommend that you use the online services provided by your own pension provider whenever possible.

On Tyoelake.fi, you can find forms in English in the English section. Forms in Swedish are in the Swedish section and forms in Finnish in the Finnish section. Any forms available in other languages are in the English section.

Problems opening the form

If you can't download the form file because the connection is poor, an error message will appear on your screen. Even if the connection problem is solved, you might still get the same error message from your computer's cache if you try to download the file again.

To solve this, clear your browser's cache and try again.
